Role: Community & Project Champion

• Project supervision of The 23plusone Collective
• Barista for BR-ND People and clients (no worries, the Quickmill is automatic)

Location: Amsterdam

Time: 2-3 days per week

This is a great side job for people who are just finishing up their studies or maybe have just graduated and want to widen their horizons. It's also perfect for someone who wants to learn on the job while working part-time.

The 23plusone Collective is founded by Kim & Alexander, from BR-ND People. We're all about justice, equality, diversity, and inclusion at work. We're also a certified B Corp with lots of happy and meaningful activities. In short, we think we are a pretty cool team to work with.

Now, what will your day look like?

Well, you'll start your day with a cup of coffee or tea and a chat with the team in our open office. Then, you'll check any online orders and get them ready to be shipped. Most of this is automated, so it's pretty easy.

Next, you'll check on the status of different projects and upcoming meetings and send out reminders if needed. You may also need to reserve a meeting room and organize catering for a training session.

At some point, you'll probably be ready for lunch. Or go to the gym first. We're all about work-life balance, so we encourage our employees to take breaks and stay healthy.

In the afternoon, you'll update the 23plusone website and prepare a newsletter. You might also answer some questions from the community. Don't worry, the BR-ND People team is always there to help.

You might also be invited to think along with the inventors of 23plusone, Kim and Alexander. They'll discuss the launch of a new version of the method with you or the planning of an annual trip for the Friends.

So, in short, your main job will be to support us by keeping track of orders, updating project status reports, and setting up and executing various operational tasks.

What does success look like in this role?

Well, it's a role with a lot of freedom, and the team is flexible, casual, and self-organizing. We believe in happiness at work, so you'll get to enjoy a fun and relaxed work environment.

It's important that you like social engagement and are flexible to work with different people. You should be able to understand their needs and be able to act quickly and independently. We believe that fast action is key, and mistakes can be corrected later. And if you don't know what to do, just ask, and we'll figure it out together.

If you're a good listener, a communicator with well-developed social skills, and you can make people feel good, then you're the perfect person for this job. You should also be fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. You need a talent for project management to keep things running smoothly.

Last but not least, you should be passionate about making a social impact, promoting sustainability, and living a happy and healthy life.
