Your role:

HyET Solar, a pioneering company in the roll-to-roll production of lightweight flexible PV modules, is seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to oversee our front-end factory production processes. Front-end processes are the first processes in our production line, which include wet chemical processing and thin film deposition techniques, namely, APCVD, Sputtering, and PECVD.

You will work closely with our second production manager, who is responsible for our back-end processes, where the aluminum foil is transformed into a working module. Together you will manage the whole production team. In this role you’ll be reporting directly to our Director of Operations.

This role requires a strong technical background and leadership skills. Leading a team of Process Engineers and Machine Operators, you’ll establish structure, set targets and manage production on a daily basis.

Your responsibilities :

• Establishing and maintaining organization and structure in the production team.
• Providing leadership, guidance and inspiration to the front-end production team.
• Strategic planning in order to ensure smooth operations and on-time production.
• Collaborating and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Monitoring production KPIs and implementing improvements for quality, efficiency, and safety.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, Science, or a related field;
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, with 5+ years in team management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Technical expertise in production machinery and process optimization.
• Fluent in English and a minimum of B1 level in Dutch.
• Experience in solar and/or roll-to-roll manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience in deposition and/or wet chemical processing is a plus.

What do we offer?

• We are a part of the Collective Agreement Metalektro, all our terms and conditions are according to that CAO.
• We offer a full-time contract for 40 hours per week.
• Salary between € 5.000,00 and € 6.000,00 based on a full-time contract, based on your experience and competencies.
• 27 leave days and 13 scheduled paid days off based on a full-time contract.
• We are part of the PME pension scheme.

About HyET Solar

HyET Solar is based in Arnhem and has developed a new cost-efficient technology to produce flexible lightweight solar panels. Examples of applications include modern, differently shaped roofs, large oil storage tanks, and roofs that use the heavy traditional roofs based panels, such as airports, shopping malls, and gas stations. We are currently in the process of scaling up from pilot production to mass production of our power foil in Arnhem. HyET Solar consists of an experienced, fast-growing and international team of now about 60 FTEs. Based on our running production line, we are realizing a new factory for industrial-scale production in Arnhem and are also preparing international expansion.
