As our Head of Business Development, you’ll be at the forefront of Brenger’s expansion strategy. Your mission is to build and strengthen partnerships, particularly with second-hand marketplaces like our collaboration with Marktplaats, to expand our impact across the Benelux, Germany, and beyond. You’ll also drive the redefinition of our B2C propositions, opening new doors and enhancing our market presence, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable, circular economy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partnership Management (40%): Cultivate and enhance relationships with key partners, driving mutual success.

  • Business Development (30%): Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities, conduct market research, and develop compelling propositions.

  • Project Management (30%): Collaborate across teams to align partnership strategies with Brenger’s growth objectives.

What you’ll achieve in your first year:

  • Scale existing partnerships and integrate with new leading marketplaces.

  • Redefine our B2C offerings to boost market reach and customer engagement.

  • Lead strategic initiatives that position Brenger as a leader in sustainable transport solutions.

Who you are:

  • 6+ years of experience in strategic business or partnership development, focused on marketplaces and B2C.

  • Proven success in managing high-impact deals and complex projects.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills with a strong commercial mindset.

  • Passionate about sustainability and transforming logistics in the secondhand market.

  • Thrive in dynamic environments, excited to make a direct impact in a fast-growing startup.
