At Ecare, you will join our Team Care Platform as a Backend Software Engineer. You will make a huge social impact and work in a close-knit team. Read on to find out more about this vacancy.




What will you do?


Within Team Care Platform, you will have different tasks and responsibilities. We work according to the principles of holacracy. Because of our efficient way of working, we work 32 hours a week at Ecare. Every Friday you are free. We do this from our office in Enschede and partly from home. What you will be doing? Among other things, the following:


  • Backend software development, you will be working with C# .NET;

  • Translating user stories and requirements into concrete solutions;

  • Working in an agile working environment where we quickly turn ideas into tangible software;

  • Giving and receiving feedback, we are constantly developing and improving - CI/CD;

  • We do everything for healthcare professionals. We do this with a tough, energetic and independent team consisting of very diverse types. Very diverse and we all recognise ourselves in 3 core values: guts, down-to-earthness and curiosity.




Your experience


You are an inquisitive, enthusiastic and accurate colleague who can act as a sparring partner for the rest of the team. Someone who wants and dares to ask critical questions, but can make pragmatic choices when the situation calls for it. We think you will be successful as a Backend Developer within Ecare if you bring the following knowledge. If you do not meet all the requirements, but are convinced that you have the qualities for this position, please respond anyway! We would love to be convinced.




  • You have at least 3 years' experience as a Backend Developer and experience with C# .NET;

  • You have at least a higher educational working and thinking level;




For a flying start, it would be beneficial if you have knowledge of and/or experience with:


  • Azure DevOps;

  • REST API in combination with .NET;

  • You have a good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is an advantage.
