Senior Key Account Manager

We are Doers. We’re an Amsterdam based start-up with a mission to drive meaningful change. We do so by empowering businesses to maximise their positive impact. We invest in these Impact Partners by offering capital, capacity, and competencies to help them achieve results and lead with purpose. We currently have three partners: Coega Biomass Centre, GreenMusk, and African Clean Energy.

To further support our partners, we are now setting up a Doers sales organisation and are therefore looking for a Senior Key Account Manager to join us in our mission and help shape our sales efforts. The sales team will be part of our Impact Team, and focus on selling carbon, biodiversity, and water credits and impact generated by our partners.

Role purpose and key contributions

As our Senior Key Account Manager, you’ll take the lead in selling high-quality carbon, biodiversity, and water credits and impact. Your work will be essential to drive revenue and make Doers successful. But it’s not just about sales; it’s about building the foundation of our sales engine and helping turn powerful climate, nature, and social projects into long-term, financially sustainable success stories. This role is perfect for someone who knows how to drive revenue and build trust.

You’ll own the full sales cycle: from identifying and securing long-term partnerships with companies looking to reduce their environmental footprint, to closing high-value deals and building strong, lasting client relationships. You'll also help shape how we sell by developing a clear, structured sales approach that can scale as we grow. You are also responsible for maintaining close contact with our Impact Partners, as they operate their own sales outlets. Ensuring alignment with them is therefore essential.

What we’re looking for

You’ve got solid experience in sales or commercial roles within carbon markets, sustainability, or environmental services, and you know the ins and outs of carbon credits, climate policy, and corporate climate action. You’re a natural at building long- term client relationships and closing high-value deals, with excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.

Bonus points if you’ve worked in the carbon credit space or sustainability sector in a commercial role, especially in organizations that combine environmental impact with afast-paced, entrepreneurial mindset. Familiarity with (setting up) CRM systems and structured sales processes is also a plus.

You’re structured, independent, and reliable. Someone who gets things done while bringing positive energy and a strong sense of integrity to the team.

What we offer

• A base salary between €7,000 and €9,000 gross/month, depending on your experience and seniority level

• 8% holiday allowance

• A beautiful office in the Houthavens (Amsterdam), with daily free and fresh lunches by our in-house chef. Hybrid might also be possible, as long as the time difference doesn't exceed 3 hours from CET.
