We're excited to welcome an organized and proactive GL accountant. In this role, you'll be key in preparing the month and year-end closing, clearing GL accounts and ensuring a high quality of overall administration together with your colleagues from AP/AR. What you will do:

• Month and Year-End Closing: Perform Netsuite-based month and year-end closing activities, including clearing General Ledger (G/L) accounts and generating reports.

• Prepare reports: statutory accounts and financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

• Process provisions, prepayments, and accruals.

• Oversee company assets: ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

• Provide assistance on finance operations: VAT, wage tax, and corporate income tax activities

• Contribute to projects: within the Accounting Department or represent the department in initiatives with financial impact.

• Drive improvements: to task efficiency and reporting processes within the department.

Job Requirements:

• You have at least 3 years of experience as a senior Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or General Ledger.

• You have experience in asset management, inventory and knowledge of accounting.

• You are a self-starter, who can identify his/ her own areas of focus and come up with smart solutions, after consultation with various stakeholders.

• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

• You are comfortable with accounting software/Netsuite and Excel / Google Sheets, with strong attention to detail.

• You are used to work in fast moving environments

• You are eager to automate processes

• You are comfortable with working at least 3 days onsite.
