Survey results 2023 - Positive opinions about Greenjobs.nl among job seekers!
At Greenjobs.nl we think it's important to optimize the experience on the website for the website visitors. We do this by listening and receiving feedback. In recent months we have asked job seekers their opinion about Greenjobs.nl in a short survey! This time we only asked job seekers for their feedback. The survey was conducted in the first months of 2023. We are happy to share the results with you.

We asked job seekers whether they would recommend Greenjobs.nl to their environment. 75% will definitely recommend Greenjobs.nl to their environment and 22% would recommend Greenjobs.nl. - 61% of job seekers find it very easy to find the jobs they are looking for on Greenjobs.nl! 30% find it easy to find the jobs they are looking for on Greenjobs.nl.
We asked job seekers how easy it is to find the jobs they are looking for on Greenjobs.nl. - 67% of job seekers find the Greenjobs.nl site very easy to find! 30% think the site is easy to find.
We asked job seekers whether the Greenjobs.nl site is easy to find. - 74% of job seekers find it very easy to apply via Greenjobs.nl.
We asked job seekers how applying via Greenjobs.nl went. 45% of the applicants did not apply via the Greenjobs.nl website but via the website of the employer in the vacancy. We left that 45% out of the figures for this question.
A number of opinions that emerged from the survey
There was also space in the survey to leave comments and we share some of the opinions of the job seekers who completed the survey.
- 'I really found my dream job through Greenjobs.nl, so this is absolutely great!'
- 'Keep it up!'
- "Look up even more advertising channels, because this was the first time for me that I had come across it at all, while I have been looking for sustainable work for a while."
- ‘Becoming the biggest ;) Now green jobs are everywhere and nowhere to be found. In any case, very fragmented.”
Suggestions that came from the survey
In the various comments there were also a number of comments about how we can improve, which we also like to share with you. Greenjobs.nl is happy with the feedback because that way we know how we can optimize the website! Below is a summary of the points for improvement on the Greenjobs.nl site:
- ‘I sometimes still find it difficult to determine how "green" the green jobs are, it would be nice if you had a framework that explains what the requirements are for a "green job". Although it is quite difficult I can imagine. Now there is still some suspicion in my mind that companies can quite easily place a job on your site, which may not be completely green. It would help if you were transparent about this.'
Response Greenjobs.nl: Good point! In the FAQ of Greenjobs.nl we explain what (in our eyes) a green job is, hopefully this will give some more explanation.
- 'An acknowledgment of receiving the application (or contact at all) from the relevant company should be a condition for posting a vacancy. Perhaps that is already a condition, but then they have not always complied with it ;) Although I understand that the responsibility lies with the company.'
Response Greenjobs.nl: Yes, we try to give employers tips through e-mails, blogs and social media posts, and agree that a response to a job application is a good thing and should be always sent. - 'Slightly more filter options in work experience or educational background.'

Response Greenjobs.nl: We try to give employers tips to describe their vacancies as clearly as possible and to include as much information as possible in the job adverts.
