You’re a Technical Writer who likes clarity and precision. ‘Firmware updates’, ‘API endpoints’, ‘hardware specs’, and ‘release notes’ all sound like music to your ears ;) You know how to take complex technical stuff and turn it into clear, structured, and super-useful documentation that actually helps people.

You want your work to make a real impact, helping users understand our products and reducing friction. You’ll shape content strategy, set documentation standards, build knowledge hubs, and work closely with engineers, product, and support. You care about usability and the reader experience, and love seeing your docs actually getting used.

What you’ll be doing as a Technical Writer at Quatt

• Own the docs, start to finish. From user manuals and installation guides to FAQs, troubleshooting steps, API docs, and release notes, you’ll create, structure, and keep it all up-to-date.

• Make the complex simple. You’ll take tricky hardware and software concepts and turn them into content that’s modular and easy for anyone to follow.

• Bring ideas to life visually. Diagrams, flowcharts, infographics, whatever helps people “get it” faster, you’ll use it.

• Work across teams. You’ll partner with engineers, product managers, QA, and support to keep everything accurate, relevant, and super useful.

• Build knowledge hubs. You’ll set up and maintain self-service knowledge bases and internal documentation portals that actually get used.

• Set the standards. You’ll define templates, style guides, and best practices (DITA, Markdown, version control, you know the drill).

• Keep improving. Using feedback, analytics, and user insights, you’ll continuously refine content so it’s always clear, easy to find, and a joy to use.

• Stay sharp. You’ll keep up with the latest in technical writing, UX writing, information architecture, and cool new tools for structured content and documentation automation.

What you bring

• • 4+ years of technical writing experience in hardware, software, or energy.

  • Skilled at creating clear, structured, user-focused content.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and focused on great reader experiences.

  • Comfortable collaborating with engineers, product, and support teams.

  • Familiar with tools like Confluence, Git, Markdown, Word, MadCap Flare (bonus: version control, CI/CD, or basic illustration).

  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a strong plus).

  • Able to work from our Amsterdam office on a hybrid basis.
