Are you a sharp analytical thinker passionate about creating a more sustainable and inclusive economy? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge field, working with diverse organizations to measure, monetize, and improve their impact?
Impact Institute is a social enterprise that empowers businesses to make the world a better place by providing the advice and technology they need to measure and manage their impact. We work with companies and investors on topics such as climate change, biodiversity, human rights, human health and animal welfare.
Currently, the common language of business is finance which enables businesses to make profit but ignores hidden societal costs and benefits such as climate change and health. We build a more inclusive language that enables businesses to create value for all and respect social and planetary boundaries. Our researchers and analysts contribute to open-source standards (Impact-Weighted Accounts Framework and True Price Standard), with True Price and the Impact Economy Foundation.
Through our impact management services we help businesses understand their impact and transform their business model. Our clients include organisations such as Triodos, ABN AMRO, Alliander, Fairtrade International and Zeeman. Our software and data platform (Impatec) enables them to implement this at scale. We are a global pioneer in impact measurement and valuation, and our work has been featured in amongst others the New York Times, Forbes, NRC and FD.
