Summary of the position we offer you
As Process
Operator you will have the opportunity to gain experience an incredibly
broad range of new topics. We cooperate internationally with several
universities, research institutes and industrial partners. The materials
that you develop will need to be tested with partners. After the
development activities on lab scale, you are going to upscale processes
via pilot plant towards industrial scale.
You will be responsible for operating, monitoring and optimising the extraction process to ensure safety, efficiency and product quality during our trials and tests. This is a position at MBO-HBO level, ideal for someone with some experience in the process industry who is looking for the next challenge in a development and scale-up environment. Your place of employment is Emmen. You will be working in a day/ 2-shift operation.
Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor extraction
equipment in our Demo plant and ensure compliance with safety and
production standards at Getec Park.
• Perform trials in cooperation with our R&D team.
• Resolve equipment and process issues, minimise downtime and optimise performance.
• Perform routine checks, inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment.Help train and mentor junior operators.
Qualifications & Experiences you bring with you
• Previous experience (3-5 years) in a process operator role, preferably in a biobased, chemical or similar industry.
• MBO-HBO education in process technology or equivalent required;
• Additional certifications related to plant operations, (Atex) safety VCA
• Strong knowledge of process control, extraction techniques and equipment operation.
• Knowledge of Atex working environment and working with (bio-based) solvents is a plus.
• Ability to solve mechanical and control problems and perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Eye for detail, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to changing conditions.
• Strong communication, teamwork skills and a can-do mentality.
