Revolution against Black Friday: Greenjobs.nl is organising a free Clothing Swap Event to promote sustainability a day before Black Friday.

At a time when consumption is soaring and the earth is suffering the consequences of excessive production, Greenjobs.nl is pushing for change. In response to Black Friday, one of the most materialistic days of the year, we invite everyone to take part in our Clothing Swap, an event that emphasises sustainability and conscious consumption. The clothing swap is a day before Black Friday.
On 23 November, Greenjobs.nl will host a clothing swap, where people can exchange their clothes for something new, without the financial and environmental costs of traditional shopping. The aim is to draw attention to the harmful impact of excessive consumption and offer an alternative that is beneficial for both individuals and our planet.
What to expect:
- Clothing swap: Bring up to 8 garments you no longer wear and swap them for new pieces of interest to you. The garments you bring must be clean.
- Community-building: Meet like-minded individuals committed to a more sustainable future.
By organising the Clothing Swap a day before Black Friday, we want to send a powerful message: you no longer need new purchases on Black Friday, because at our Clothing Swap you have already renewed your wardrobe in a sustainable way.
