To accelerate this growth and strengthen our commercial capabilities, we’re expanding our Growth team with a new  position focused on unlocking long-term value through strategic partnerships.

What you’ll do

As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will drive high-impact partnerships, enterprise-level deals, and car manufacturer (OEM) relationships. You’ll have your own partner scope, with a main focus on potential Chinese partners, like electric car manufacturers and battery producers. Next to the Chinese partners, your scope could be extended based on your experience, background and business needs, and could include other Asian automotive partners or big tech. You will be part of the Growth department, report into the Strategic Partnerships Lead in a team of 3 people.The wider Growth Department is responsible for driving revenue growth together with the Marketing Department, and next to the partnerships team it includes a Pricing & Strategy, Propositions, and Sales team. Outside of the Growth team, you will work closely with the Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Product team to implement your partnerships.  The role is located in the Amsterdam office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Fastned’s partnership strategy for your partner scope: Including but not limited to our Chinese partners, as part of our wider strategic partnership strategy that is owned by the team lead.

  • Source Partnerships: Own the end-to-end process of identifying, securing, and managing strategic partnerships, with a focus on Chinese Automotive (“OEMs”), tech players, and battery producers.

  • Closing the Deal: Lead the full commercial deal lifecycle, from initial lead qualification and value proposition development to negotiation and contract finalisation. 

  • Grow the Partnerships: Nurture existing partnerships to maximise long-term value. Act as a strategic advisor to both internal teams and external partners, ensuring each partnership evolves and delivers impact over time.

  • Internal project management and stakeholder alignment: Conduct internal alignment and project management to bring features from the partnership alive internally at Fastned. 

  • Communication & Brand Representation: Represent Fastned at relevant industry conferences, forums, and partner meetings to actively strengthen our reputation as a leader in the EV charging ecosystem and a top-tier commercial partner.
