To accelerate this growth, we are looking for a Head of Sales to strengthen our commercial capabilities. Together with 400+ colleagues from over 45 nationalities, spread across 10 countries, we drive change in the energy transition. What you’ll do
As we rapidly expand our fast charging network across Europe, the opportunity to attract more electric vehicle drivers grows. To accelerate this growth and strengthen our commercial capabilities, we’re enhancing our Growth team with a new position, Sales Manager, Netherlands, focused on unlocking long-term value through strategic partnerships and sales deals tailored to the needs and demands of the Dutch market.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales and growth of the network by closing impactful commercial deals for your market. You will own the country’s sales plan, closely monitor results, and report directly to the Head of Sales. Together with the Marketing Manager, who owns the broader commercial plan, you own the country's commercial performance. Your primary goal is to accelerate the current and future growth of kWh sold on the Fastned network in the country you are responsible for. You will collaborate closely with the local Marketing, Operations, and Growth teams to align commercial activities with Fastned’s strategic objectives. Together, you will boost Fastned’s impact and take its station performance to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
This role shapes and drives national revenue growth by proactively seeking new business opportunities and innovative deal structures. Your proactive approach and commercial drive will be key to accelerating Fastned’s growth and impact.
Key priority - Deliver sales to drive revenue growth:
Identify and prioritise high-impact sales opportunities with key partners, fleet operators, and commercial clients to expand Fastned’s footprint;
Negotiate and close commercial deals that directly contribute to revenue growth and market share;
Act as the first point of contact for closed deals, managing accounts and ensuring long-term partner satisfaction;
Support HQ in developing new deal propositions in close collaboration with local stakeholders, leveraging Fastned’s products and services to address market needs.
Set strategic direction for your market, by developing an annual plan together with Head of Sales:
Develop annual national sales plans to deliver on ambitious growth targets, in collaboration with the central strategy team and national stakeholder;.
Agree on annual sales targets with HQ;
Identify and prioritise strategic opportunities and annual goals;
Develop a sales action plan, and align with HQ and local teams.
Monitor commercial performance in the country and adapt where needed:
Track market trends and competitor activities, station performance, and evaluate the effectiveness of closed deals using KPIs, dashboards, and other performance metrics;
Proactively adapt sales strategies and identify new growth opportunities.Adjust and optimise strategies where necessary to maximise impact.
Manage internal stakeholder relationships and champion a commercial growth mindset:
Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, pipeline development, and key wins;
Present sales performance at quarterly business review;
Partner with the Marketing Manager to build a commercial growth mindset in the country team.
Represent Fastned and build a commercial network:
Represent Fastned at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, actively strengthening our brand and network in the market;
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners, ensuring long-term collaboration and mutual value creation.
