What to expect from working at Ecomatters
As soon as you begin working at Ecomatters you will be included on a small number of projects. You will be working together with an experienced senior consultant but also made responsible for delivering your own tasks. Together you make sure that the client’s needs are met in time. While working on this you get to ask all the questions you might have and learn by doing (you will get plenty of time to do so!). Keep in mind that your colleagues are easily approachable and they are always looking to help out!
Within the first 3-6 months you will learn the ins and outs on conducting LCA studies and focus on learning Excel modelling and modelling in LCA software. At the end of this period, you will have developed a full LCA report or you are on your way to do so. After this initial period, you will keep applying your LCA skills in different situations and contexts, and you will be included in projects with a different focus and perspective.
We believe that every team member can add unique value and qualities to the company by developing the things you excel at and that give you energy. Building on your strengths, you get to complete a variety of projects to develop into a well-rounded sustainability professional. Over time you will be given more responsibilities and become involved in client engagement and project management, all while becoming an expert in your field! While working at Ecomatters you will get access to:
- Opportunities for growth (become a sustainability expert or team leader and learn transferable skills)
- Buddy system for speedy onboarding and providing ongoing support and sound boarding
